Happy LAST night!

31 December, 2001 || 3:55 p.m.

Happy New Year Everybody!!

I realize this entry would be more effective at midnight, but i'm prolly gunna conk ot in front of the tv by quater to 11, so, *hey*, ya know.

I just got back from Saratoga where I was. duh. That was a really obvious sentence. I was there because I am in the Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra (SSYO) and we performed at 6, 7 and 8 tonight for First Night.

Which brings me to my next topic:

Why do they call it *First* Night? Wouldn't it be *Last* Night? I mean, it's the *last* night of 2001, TOMORROW is the *first* night of 2002. So why is TONIGT called "First Night: 2002"??

Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't get it.
